Baby Clothes Quilt in Black and Pink

I started and finished this project sometime last year! Opps it took forever for me to get this posted and I know I'm not very consistent. I wanted to make something for my little girl out of all the baby clothes that she had that I didn't want to save and were a bit too worn to pass on. I cut all of her cute pink clothes that I had into 4 inch squares. I then took some black flannel I had left over from another project and used that as well. Her theme was black and pink when she was tiny because I loved the color combo!

I then laid all the squares out in the order that i wanted them. After that i stacked the rows together  and sewed them row by row.

Here is a pic of the work about half way done.
My sister helped me with sewing on the backing here is her working hard to help me get it done!
As you can see in this pic all we did was turn the quilt so that the right side was down facing the back piece of the quilt. Then we sewed it together and turned it right side out through a small opening on one of the sides and quickly stitched that up and we were all but done. I planned on taking yarn and making little knots to hold the back to the front but sadly my daughter claimed it before I was able to do so.

Here it is finished!
And here is where I stared to tie the little knots. This is what the look like from the back.
